4 DAYS / 3 NITES Palu valley and their people


Day 1: Upon arrival in Palu

Fly from from Jakarta, Bali, Manado or Balikpapan via Makassar then connected to Palu.

Sightseeing around Palu valley. Visiting Tanah Runtuh Bumi Roviega hill where is a a nice seaview. Enjoy tasted of local food.

Stay at Swiss-bell hotel nearby seashore beach.


Day 2: Sightseeing around Palu valley

After breakfast we’ll visit a regional museum of Central Sulawesi provincial, you’ll be introduced with historical and cultural of ethnic groups who occupy Palu valley.

Then keep walking to the next door where is a local market, Here you can see variety of green vegetables, fresh fruits and handycraft.

Afterthat Journey will be continued driving up to Gawalise mountain, with fabulous mountain view. Visiting Da’a tribes at Wayu,Matantitimali and Dombu village. These villages are unlike as other places.

Here is more unique, and and native people are very welcome with a huge smile. Some of the family are still building a simple wooden house of the trees.

Altitude is above more 1200m from the sea level, means much colder up there, in the afternoon will be misty likes flying over the sky.

After Lunch trip continues driving to the north to visit Dalaka village, Enu Beach and Batusuya.

Along the way, you can see local people are processing copra, making matrasses and much more.

Enjoy spectacular sunset.


Day 3: Excursion along Palu bay

Today is another day of excursion, drive to Watusampu village, is one of famous place where we can see local people are actively processing Silk waving, designed with native motif called Sarung Bomba.

Visiting fisherman village of Salubomba, Towale and Tosale. How amazing mangrove forest!

Watching shore birds fly over. After lunch drive dwon to Tanjung karang white sandy beach.

Here is your pleasure time to relax on the beach. Snorkeling or scuba diving can be done.

Then on the way back, we will stop at a Souvenier shop to look at samples of Ebody wood, as a typical of hard wood grows in Central Sulawesi only. Late evening we will hang-out to Taman Ria to enjoy sea-breeze and activities of local people.

Night in the hotel.


Day 4: Palu – Makassar/transfer-out

After breakfast you’ll be transferred-out to the airport for your return flight to the next destination via Makassar. The end of tour service.
